I’m pleased to announce my new officially licensed Shiny series of my favorite characters from the Marvel Universe. Working with Mighty Fine and Marvel I’ve been able to release the first two of my series Phoenix and Rogue. Mixing a classic composition with some newer styles, this truly was a dream project. For the 8th Anniversary of Gallery 1988 Melrose they are having a show themed after “Memes” I chose to do a spin on the infamous Nyan Cat! called “Nyan Deco.” 20 signed and numbered limited edition prints will be available. Show opens on May 4th. If you live in the area, check it out!
I’ve always thought James Bond was a cool suave franchise, so for the Planet Pulp theme this month here is my minimalist take on the movie poster for the upcoming release “SKYFALL.” Having only seen the trailer, and read the two sentence plot description wiki I can conclude that the battle is brought back to England when M16 gets attacked and bond’s loyalty is tested with M when he founds out more about her past. Nuff said! let’s do it!
